The Aber Fence Company’s AFTEC precast concrete column forms are the perfect way to take advantage of the beauty and strength of AFTEC Precast Concrete Columns without blocking the view. Precast concrete columns provide a bold look towards the aesthetics of your community and/or project.
To make these columns, concrete mixed with patented steel fibers or patented nylon fibers is poured into a column form and allowed to cure. When the hardened column is removed from the form, it already displays the desired design. AFTEC stone columns are 18” x 18” wide and standard heights are six feet and eight feet. The Aber Fence Company has provided precast concrete column installation as high as fourteen feet.
Our eight-foot wall reduces exterior noise by 10.2 decibels and both 6-foot and 8-foot walls are engineered to withstand sustained winds of 130 mph and wind gusts of 3-seconds or less up to 150 mph.
Stone columns are installed on a concrete setting containing a patented designed steel I-beam. The concrete setting is made as deep as the column is high. The column is then used to transfer the load of the fence to the concrete foundation. Once manufactured and installed, the AFTEC column can be sealed, painted and capped.
