Aber offers powder-coated ornamental iron fencing; commercial gates with access control, chain link fencing, and wood fencing projects over 500 linear feet in length.
Depending on site positioning, traffic control, permitting when required, installation is typically 100 linear feet per day.
Aber Fence prefers Ameristar powder-coated iron products, 9-gauge chain link fencing and #2 or better Western red cedar woods.
Texas law requires all fence companies to provide a one-year warranty on material and labor. Ameristar offers a 20-year warranty based on location and distance from the Gulf Coast.
If tear & haul is required, the existing old fence is removed. If security is a necessity, Aber will install temporary chain link fencing 2—3 feet away from the designated fence line.
When tear & haul of existing fence is involved, the fence is removed and the end and gate posts are completely removed. The other posts are cut at grade level and pounded into the soil. If there is a concrete grade and installation of a new fence the customer can choose between having the sets core-drilled or flanged. If the existing fence is already on a concrete grade the posts are jack-hammered out to allow the new posts to be emplaced.
Temporary chain link fences can be used when security is involved and typically installed 2—3 feet away from the intended fence line.
The better and higher the fence, the better the security. Many businesses are now using “Invincible” iron fencing, which has a pointed curved top to make it more difficult to climb over. Chain link fencing can have barb wire on top or even barb wire plus razor-ribbon coils affixed to the barb wire. Aber Fence also offers the AFTEC Precast Concrete Wall to heights up to 14-feet and have barbed wire plus razor ribbon attached on top of the wall. This option has been used in many of our utility station customers.
